Responsibilities
- Design, author, and audit technical designs and independently deliver well-defined features with moderate guidance.
- Develop and maintain scalable back-end services, component libraries, Terraform modules, and deployment pipelines across Azure and GCP.
- Create testing plans and write unit, component, and end-to-end tests while debugging across components, environments, and external dependencies.
- Implement telemetry, dashboards, and SLOs; participate in on-call rotations, root-cause analysis, and operational improvements.
- Identify dependencies and critical paths, collaborate cross-functionally to resolve blockers, and improve engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience building back-end, platform, or reliability-focused services.
- Experience with at least one of C#, Java, or Go; distributed systems; data structures; and production reliability fundamentals.
- Experience with web services, REST or gRPC APIs, JSON or structured data, Git, automated testing frameworks, and complex CI/CD workflows.
- Experience using coding assistants such as Claude or GitHub Copilot for problem solving, debugging, profiling, and documentation.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure or GCP back-end operations, Terraform and infrastructure-as-code, progressive delivery or feature-flagging systems, observability tooling, incident response, on-call rotations, RCA, operational readiness reviews, and end-to-end feature ownership.
