Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural modernization of enterprise-scale .NET applications into cloud-native, microservices-based platforms.
- Establish engineering strategy and standards for cloud adoption, application modernization, software quality, DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Design scalable, secure, highly available distributed systems using AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and modern cloud services.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives supporting customer service operations, call centers, and enterprise back-office teams.
- Guide teams in adopting modern front-end technologies and API-first architectures.
- Lead design reviews, architecture governance, and technical decision-making across multiple product teams.
- Evaluate AI-assisted software development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
- Mentor senior engineers and foster technical excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Partner with business leaders to align technology investments with organizational objectives.
- Support enterprise application modernization, high-volume call center applications, workflow automation, event streaming, and observability initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 4-5 years of experience with source control tools such as GitLab or GitHub.
- 2-3 years of cloud infrastructure management and architecture experience.
- 2-3 years of experience with Helm and other Kubernetes management tools.
- Expert proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 8+, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience building and deploying microservices using containerized architectures.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
- Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps Repos, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong front-end development experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and modern authentication mechanisms.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and Single Sign-On.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
- Understanding of application performance optimization, observability, logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns.
- Experience implementing secure software development lifecycle practices, static code analysis, vulnerability remediation, and secure coding standards.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Kiro, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, or similar technologies.
- Ability to make technical decisions, take ownership of software projects, and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading enterprise application modernization programs in large, complex organizations is preferred.
- Telecommunications, communications, customer care platform, high-volume call center, and workforce management experience is preferred.
- Experience with workflow automation and robotic process automation platforms such as UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, or Automation Anywhere is preferred.
- Experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud-native messaging services is preferred.
- Experience with observability platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or Elastic Stack is preferred.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Professional certifications, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.
