Base Salary
$125k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy, upgrade, operate, maintain, and scale mission-critical products and services.
- Manage infrastructure as code and use observability tools to assess application health.
- Collaborate with software engineers to design highly operable, maintainable, and testable systems.
- Improve the software development lifecycle from design through deployment, operation, and continuous refinement.
- Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
- Provide end-user support to vehicle software engineers and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks through measurement and engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or an engineering discipline, or 3+ years of professional SRE or DevOps experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 1 year of experience with Python and Python-based development frameworks.
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Preferred experience with Bazel, Buck, Make, Docker, Kubernetes, vSphere, QEMU, KVM, Postgres, MySQL, ClickHouse, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or similar tools.
- Preferred full-stack development experience with Python, JavaScript, and C#, with C++ used by end users.
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.

- Base salary range of $125,000-$160,000 per year for Level I and $145,000-$195,000 per year for Level II.
