Responsibilities
- Own and evolve a bounded platform service or SDK component for multi-tenant use.
- Debug across distributed services and drive compatibility-safe remediation plans.
- Develop software features, API integrations, versioning strategies, and architectural improvements.
- Implement functional and non-functional testing, quality assurance, error logging, monitoring, and observability.
- Optimize performance, resilience, capacity, scalability, and service availability.
- Investigate customer-reported issues and product defects and provide technical guidance and solutions.
- Lead code reviews, document platform usage, create samples and adoption guidance, and mentor team members.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and vulnerability-related testing.
- Manage work independently, prioritize deliverables, and collaborate across teams to address customer and stakeholder needs.
Requirements
- Independent software design and development experience for moderately complex features and services.
- Working knowledge of software architecture, API functionality, integration, versioning, lifecycle management, and interoperability.
- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, performance profiling, optimization, testing, monitoring, observability, and secure coding practices.
- Ability to work across a bounded graph of distributed services and resolve customer or product maintenance issues.
- Ability to lead code reviews, improve development practices, document software and adoption guidance, and mentor others.
- Ability to independently manage deliverables, solve standard and non-standard problems, and collaborate across teams.
