Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise integration and enterprise action-layer architecture strategies using APIs, events, MCP, and A2A.
- Establish integration patterns, reference architectures, design standards, Architecture Decision Records, and governance controls for AI and event-driven integrations.
- Design, standardize, and govern enterprise MCP servers and client architectures for secure access to context, tools, and enterprise data.
- Architect and deliver low-latency, resilient streaming pipelines and AI integration platforms using MuleSoft, Solace, Apache Kafka, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Evaluate and drive adoption of emerging AI protocols, agentic workflows, and AI ecosystem standards.
- Build proofs of concept for agentic integration patterns, RAG, and AI skills.
- Collaborate with data engineers, enterprise architects, product owners, business leads, and Data & AI teams.
- Mentor engineering teams and advocate for reusable, protocol-driven integration solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as an Integration Architect or subject-matter expert.
- Deep practical experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns, API management, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP S/4HANA, Workday, Snowflake, and Veeva.
- Hands-on expertise with MCP, A2A, agentic workflows, and Skills; knowledge of LLMs, RAG architectures, and vector search is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency with MuleSoft, Solace, Apache Kafka or Confluent, AWS Kinesis, and REST/gRPC microservices.
- Deep experience with OAuth2, OIDC, On-Behalf-Of token exchange, and identity propagation for secure agent and enterprise-backend interactions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and hybrid enterprise deployment patterns.
- Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or healthcare is a strong plus.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, mentoring, and hands-on implementation abilities.
