Responsibilities

  • Investigate autonomous-driving behavior issues using logs and determine root causes.
  • Analyze large amounts of data to identify trends in driving behavior.
  • Research, design, and implement new perception and driving behavior capabilities in multi-vehicle depots.
  • Improve evaluation capabilities for understanding on-road performance.
  • Help solve challenging long-tail autonomous-driving situations.
  • Collaborate within and across engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, machine learning, robotics, or a similar technical field.
  • General software engineering experience programming in C++ with robust and efficient code.
  • Ability to collaborate within and across teams.
  • Preferred: autonomous vehicle or robotics experience.
  • Preferred: experience with graph search, optimization, or path planning algorithms.
  • Preferred: proficiency in Python and SQL.
