Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end architecture, roadmaps, and key technology decisions for Microsoft Fabric and Azure data and analytics solutions.
  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, performant data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure storage, SQL, and related services.
  • Act as a hands-on technical lead for critical components, complex builds, proof-of-concepts, implementation guidance, and design patterns.
  • Define data models, integration patterns, monitoring practices, security controls, performance standards, and cost-optimization approaches.
  • Enable analytics and reporting through Power BI and Fabric, and integrate data platforms with enterprise tools and business applications.
  • Drive DevOps and CI/CD adoption and conduct architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and enterprise architecture to communicate solution options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
  • Develop leadership capability to lead, mentor, and grow a team of 5+ developers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • 10–15 years of overall IT experience across data and analytics.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a senior technical lead or architect capacity.
  • Proven experience delivering Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure-based data platforms.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ASP.NET, SharePoint, SQL, and data modeling.
  • Experience designing scalable and secure data solutions, Azure storage patterns, integrations, APIs, connectors, and analytics consumption layers.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework, Microsoft 365 and business application integrations, Microsoft Graph, event-driven or streaming integrations, and Power Platform automation is preferred.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, prioritization, and ownership skills.
