Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Drive technical execution for connected product software programs.
- Work across embedded firmware, mobile applications, cloud services, and backend integrations.
- Participate in software architecture and system design discussions.
- Define and refine software requirements, workflows, and feature behavior.
- Coordinate technical activities across internal teams and external development partners.
- Review software designs, implementation approaches, and technical tradeoffs.
- Support software verification, validation, and release-readiness activities.
- Investigate and resolve complex cross-functional technical issues.
- Maintain technical consistency across multiple products and software platforms.
- Perform hands-on prototyping, debugging, scripting, and implementation support as needed.
- Maintain software lifecycle documentation and support regulated development processes for connected medical products.
- Identify technical risks early and drive issues to closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong systems-level thinking and debugging skills.
- Experience with embedded systems or connected devices and across multiple software layers, including firmware, mobile, backend, APIs, and cloud.
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot hardware-software interactions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical problems.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and fast-moving environments.
- Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy or IoT systems is preferred.
- Experience with iOS, Android, Flutter, or similar mobile application development is preferred.
- Experience with cloud-connected products, backend APIs, regulated industries, software lifecycle processes, verification, traceability, external development partners, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD systems is preferred.
- Embedded firmware development experience in C/C++ is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
