Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery for entire teams or complex technical initiatives across teams.
- Design scalable applications, microservices, and system architectures.
- Architect solutions that balance technical excellence, business needs, and team capabilities.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Drive engineering standards, best practices, culture improvements, reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with product, business, technical, and non-technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
- Influence technical decisions and roadmaps beyond the immediate team and own delivery outcomes.
- Contribute to people development, hiring evaluation, documentation, presentations, and cross-team communication.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience with progressive responsibility.
- Deep expertise in at least two technology stacks or programming languages.
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex systems end-to-end.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, design patterns, scalability, software development lifecycle, DevOps, and production operations.
- Demonstrated success mentoring engineers at multiple levels and leading technical initiatives or major projects.
- Strong technical communication, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, influence, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Advanced proficiency with architecture tools, monitoring and observability platforms, and performance optimization.
- Senior-level cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or GCP Professional Cloud Architect is preferred.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, SRE, platform engineering, frontend, backend, data, cloud, or AI/ML is a plus.
