Staff Software Engineer (.net C#, Microservices, Cloud distributed and native app development)
DanaherResponsibilities
- Architect, design, redesign, migrate, and maintain software applications.
- Develop and maintain innovative medical software applications.
- Implement software designs, unit tests, and appropriate module testing.
- Participate in software lifecycle reviews and inspections to support software quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead small teams of developers when needed and coach junior team members on standard practices.
- Collaborate with business partners, architects, product managers or owners, and globally distributed development teams.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance, detailed software planning, and execution leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 12–15 years of experience with .NET, C#, WPF, and unit testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, theories, concepts, object-oriented programming, and design and architectural patterns.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies using Azure DevOps.
- Experience with code versioning tools including Git and SVN.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: continuous integration experience, including CI/CD.
- Preferred: experience developing regulated medical device software under design controls and quality management system requirements, including FDA CFR 820 and ISO 13485.
- Preferred: experience with Delphi.
