Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure architectures across multi-cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates with embedded security controls.
- Implement cloud security tools and services, manage identities and roles, and maintain compliance with applicable frameworks and regulations.
- Define secure container standards, maintain Kubernetes security, and integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and respond to cloud and hybrid security events and incidents.
- Maintain SIEM data pipelines and build security operations infrastructure using Python, Terraform, and configuration management tools.
- Develop security dashboards, alerts, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Own security projects from issue identification through solution implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure security, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and best practices.
- Proficiency with at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure and its associated security services.
- Experience securing hybrid AWS/on-premises or multi-cloud environments, including IAM and overall security posture.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, network security concepts, and security protocols.
- Experience using Python or Bash for automation and tool development.
- Relevant security certifications such as CCSP, CSSK, or AWS Security Specialty are preferred.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes and container security, CI/CD tools, GitHub Actions, observability and SIEM platforms, custom cloud security integrations, regulated financial platforms, and securing AI/ML workloads.
