Responsibilities
- Contribute to the system architecture of the company’s cloud-based IT landscape.
- Design technical solutions by translating business requirements into architectural specifications.
- Apply and help shape architecture standards, patterns, and procedures with other architects.
- Develop the architecture-as-code approach using tools such as C4/Structurizr.
- Document solutions, coordinate them with stakeholders, and support implementation.
- Conduct proof-of-concept projects and evaluate technical solutions, including MAKE-or-BUY decisions.
- Collaborate with business owners, project teams, development teams, and other architects.
Requirements
- Experience in software development and initial hands-on experience in software architecture.
- Ability to analyze requirements and clearly document and present architectural solutions.
- Experience with interface definitions such as OpenAPI or Avro.
- Interest in integrating complex systems, including SAP.
- Ability to compare solution options based on factual criteria and contribute to technical decisions.
- Experience with modeling or documentation tools such as C4/Structurizr, PlantUML, or Mermaid is preferred.
- Experience in Finance, People/HR, or Logistics domains is a plus.
- Very good English communication skills and preferably German communication skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, independence, ownership, and willingness to learn.
