Responsibilities
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs.
- Design, develop, enhance, install, test, debug, and support applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Analyze application code to identify vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Identify problems, evaluate information, and implement solutions with limited supervision.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, risk, and control issues appropriately.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of industry experience with hands-on Java experience.
- Strong programming skills and experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices development.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Unix shell scripting.
- Experience with JUnit, Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, UDeploy, and TeamCity.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps tools.
- Experience working with SDLC/STLC and Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong logical, analytical, and programming skills.
- Fixed income domain experience is preferred.
- OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Splunk experience is an added advantage.
