Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, integrate, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance complex application systems.
Gather requirements and prepare BRD/SRD documentation when needed.
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and develop test plans, test data, test automation suites, and quality assurance procedures.
Participate in code reviews, deployment change controls, continuous improvement, and software maintenance activities.
Collaborate with data engineers, business users, project managers, and other engineers to deliver team objectives.
Mentor junior engineers, promote software reuse, document procedures, and apply development best practices.
Resolve hardware, software, and communications malfunctions while considering their business impact.
Complete required training and use learning tools such as Pluralsight for professional development.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
2–6 years of software development experience.
Experience developing both front-end and back-end software.
Knowledge of the software development life cycle, application development toolkits, application frameworks, containerization, and cross-platform interoperability.
Experience with C#, Java, HTML, Node.js, CSS, JSON, Angular, and JavaScript.
Strong teamwork and organizational skills; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
