Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, operate, and maintain full-stack software solutions owned end to end.
- Contribute to platform enablement, architecture decisions, code reviews, and shared engineering standards.
- Build custom AI agents for task automation, decision support, summarization, multi-step reasoning, and guided execution.
- Build and integrate Model Context Protocol systems for structured context sharing and interoperability among models, tools, and agents.
- Integrate applications with internal and external AI services, including LLMs, embeddings, search, tools, and RAG systems.
- Harden AI components for critical manufacturing systems with attention to reliability, resiliency, latency, performance, security, permissions, data boundaries, observability, and maintainability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation while evaluating outputs for correctness and maintainability.
- Gather requirements, analyze software domains and interfaces, write application and database code, and support testing, deployment, and operations.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, clean code, testing strategies, and maintainability.
- Production experience building and operating backend or full-stack systems with API design, service integration, and data persistence.
- Experience designing scalable architectures and evaluating performance, reliability, security, and developer-productivity tradeoffs.
- Experience with cloud-native environments, containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern operational practices.
- Understanding of relational and non-relational data modeling and storage technologies.
- Experience owning software from design through lifecycle support and collaborating across engineering and business teams.
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL and NoSQL databases, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing custom AI agents beyond simple chat interfaces, including custom-agent skills.
- AI-native experience with prompt engineering, vibe coding, context-window management, and chain-of-thought design.
- Experience with MCP or equivalent structured agent/tool interfaces, prompt design, tool invocation, and RAG-based systems.
- Ability to assess hallucination risk, failure modes, permissions, and guardrails in AI-enabled systems.
- Preferred experience applying AI-enabled development practices, evaluating AI-generated outputs, building interoperable AI systems, and operationalizing AI in high-reliability environments.
