Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications, enhancements, bug fixes, and new services across enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver secure, maintainable, high-quality code.
- Use approved AI tools and platforms for code development, documentation, refactoring, testing, prototyping, and developer productivity.
- Review and validate AI-generated code with senior engineers to ensure alignment with architecture, risk, security, and regulatory standards.
- Apply prompt engineering and responsible AI practices while exploring AI/ML capabilities in applications.
- Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.
- Contribute to data modeling, pipeline development, analytics environments, reusable frameworks, and distributed-system design patterns.
- Partner with architecture, product, and platform teams to support the technical evolution of services.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination thereof.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field, with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028, preferred.
- Foundational knowledge of one or more of Java, Python, .NET, SQL, or cloud technologies.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and API development.
- Experience with software development lifecycle practices such as testing and deployment.
- Exposure to AI or AI-assisted development tools and familiarity with prompt engineering and responsible AI usage are preferred.
- Prior engineering internship experience and involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities are preferred.
- Ability to solve problems, communicate challenges, recommend solutions, take initiative, and demonstrate interest in learning and growth.
- Must pass the required technology skills assessment.
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring current or future work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo.
