- Integrate perception, SLAM, and navigation models and algorithms into Amazon’s on-robot software stack.
- Optimize deep learning models and computer vision pipelines for real-time inference on embedded GPUs using quantization, pruning, graph optimization, and inference-engine tuning.
- Profile and reduce perception latency, throughput, and memory use across sensor input, model execution, and output.
- Build efficient multi-camera and multi-sensor data paths with zero-copy and hardware-accelerated processing.
- Own evaluation datasets, metrics, and regression gates across offline, simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Make perception components production-ready through versioning, configuration, health monitoring, telemetry, and real-robot debugging.
- Write design documents and experiment reports communicating technical tradeoffs, results, and limitations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Python and/or C++ programming.
- At least 4 years of experience in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
