Responsibilities
- Design and develop LLM-powered backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Build RAG pipelines using vector databases, embeddings, vector search, and context management.
- Implement agentic workflows, including multi-agent orchestration, tool-calling agents, planners, and executors.
- Design and expose APIs using OpenAPI and REST API specifications.
- Integrate backend AI services with React and JavaScript frontend applications.
- Deploy, manage, and scale AI services in Kubernetes environments using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Use LangChain to orchestrate prompts, tools, chains, memory, and agents.
- Use LangSmith for prompt/version tracking, LLM tracing, debugging, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Apply prompt engineering practices and maintain reusable prompt libraries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
- Maintain the security, reliability, observability, and performance of AI systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Strong experience with FastAPI and RESTful API design and consumption.
- Familiarity with OpenAPI and Swagger specifications.
- Working knowledge of React and JavaScript, including frontend-to-backend API integration.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG-based applications, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and context management.
- Knowledge of agentic system design patterns and experience with AutoGen or similar frameworks.
- Experience with LangChain and LangSmith.
- Familiarity with protocols such as MCP and A2A.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus cloud deployment knowledge across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Basic CI/CD knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or Cline is valued.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, or Chroma is valued.
- Experience with graph databases such as Apache AGE or Neo4j is valued.
- Knowledge of JWT, OAuth2, security, AuthN, and AuthZ is valued.
- Working knowledge of monitoring and observability tools is valued.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.
