Responsibilities
- Solve difficult software problems using appropriate technologies and best practices.
- Design and build stable, performant, scalable, and maintainable software.
- Collaborate with customers, product managers, operations, category managers, finance teams, and engineering stakeholders.
- Apply sound design approaches, manage dependencies and complexity, and make pragmatic trade-offs.
- Write understandable code, minimize short-term workarounds, and use resources efficiently.
- Contribute to project ideas, business objectives, and product roadmaps across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience in software design or architecture for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: 2+ years contributing to new and existing systems architecture and design, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
