Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scripts and reusable PowerShell modules for Azure Resource Manager, Entra ID, governance, and Microsoft 365 operations.
- Automate Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Microsoft Graph, user lifecycle, licensing, compliance, and monitoring workloads.
- Develop Azure Functions, automation accounts, runbooks, pipelines, and cloud-native integrations with robust error handling, logging, testing, and idempotent design.
- Maintain Git-based repositories, branching strategies, pull-request reviews, semantic versioning, tagging, release notes, and deployment pipelines.
- Secure automation through managed identities, app registrations, Azure Key Vault, least-privilege permissions, compliance controls, and audit logging.
- Create documentation, architectural diagrams, training, demonstrations, and operational handoffs while partnering with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise-scale cloud or systems management and automation engineering.
- 3+ years of PowerShell development experience, including module development, advanced functions, error handling, logging, testing, and performance optimization.
- Experience building production-grade cloud automations, workflows, API-integrated solutions, and Microsoft 365 workloads.
- Experience with Azure, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Graph, secure coding, operational governance, and service management processes.
- Experience with version control platforms such as Jira, Bitbucket, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio Code and its extensions for PowerShell and Git-based development.
- Bachelor's degree in CS.
- Preferred qualifications include agent-based or AI-driven automation experience, REST or Graph integrations, CI/CD and automation testing, technical coordination or mentoring, regulated or high-security environment experience, Microsoft Certifications, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
