Base Salary
$129k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical and architectural decisions for scalable enterprise applications, infrastructure strategy, configuration optimization, and modernization initiatives.
- Design and deliver data-driven components, Java-based microservices, and modern user interfaces using enterprise development frameworks.
- Develop scaling strategies and automation frameworks using Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and EKS.
- Establish CI/CD and build automation practices using the Atlassian tool suite and related technologies.
- Conduct design and code reviews, identify quality issues, and drive remediation of vulnerabilities found through SAST and FOSS scanning.
- Mentor junior engineers, guide high-performing teams, and document architectural decisions and technical knowledge.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of professional software engineering experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions.
- At least 5 years of hands-on development with modern Java technologies in agile, distributed teams.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- At least 3 years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- At least 3 years of experience designing large-scale microservices architectures with container orchestration frameworks.
- At least 3 years of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Spinnaker, JUnit, Cypress, and Cucumber.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced degree or specialized certifications in software architecture, cloud technologies, or DevOps practices are strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, prioritization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilities.
