Base Salary

$122k - $184k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex Intelligence Community mission requirements into scalable application architectures.
  • Design, develop, and deploy secure front-end and back-end solutions in classified environments.
  • Build enterprise applications for cross-IC integration, data visualization, workflow automation, analytics, and secure collaboration.
  • Develop APIs, database schemas, and backend services for high-performance applications.
  • Improve software architecture, platforms, developer workflows, and engineering standards.
  • Ensure performance, reliability, and security of deployed systems.
  • Implement scalable architectures aligned with DevSecOps and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
  • Collaborate with sponsors, UX, Architecture, Data, Security, and Operations teams.
  • Present technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to department-wide technical standards and tradecraft.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with at least five years of related experience, or three years with a master’s degree, or a PhD with relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar engineer in secure environments.
  • Proficiency with front-end and back-end languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go.
  • Proficiency writing SQL queries, performing data transformations, and designing database schemas.
  • Ability to work in Agile development environments with strong documentation practices.
  • Active U.S. Government-issued Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for security-clearance eligibility.
  • Preferred qualifications include an advanced technical degree, geospatial application experience, modern JavaScript framework experience, PostgreSQL, Linux, Git, AWS-managed services, cloud-native architectures, Bun or Deno, and SecDevOps pipeline experience.
