Base Salary
$175k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver complex platform features end-to-end with minimal oversight.
- Translate high-level requirements into solutions informed by business understanding.
- Design systems, model data, and write code across multiple languages and technologies.
- Maintain testing, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Evolve legacy code alongside greenfield development.
- Own projects, define requirements, and lead development.
- Participate in architecture discussions and help define technical direction.
- Engage in on-call and production support activities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of server-side development experience using major programming languages such as Java, Ruby, Python, Clojure, or C#.
- Strong understanding of system and architecture design principles, particularly distributed systems.
- Ability to own projects, define requirements, and lead development.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Desirable experience with Platform as a Service and transforming services into products.
- Desirable experience with IAM concepts including RBAC/ABAC, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, or SCIM.
- Desirable experience with temporal data modeling, APIs consumed by other teams, and real-time or event-driven systems.
