Responsibilities
- Own the SAP MM Indirect Procurement module design, configuration approach, estimates, sequencing, and deliverables.
- Configure catalogue-based and free-text requisitioning, OCI catalogue integration, requisition templates, and requester experiences in Fiori.
- Configure lean services procurement in S/4HANA, including service purchase orders, service entry sheets, limit orders, and approval and acceptance workflows.
- Configure account assignment to cost centres, WBS elements, and internal orders, together with budget and commitment controls.
- Design catalogue coverage, preferred supplier routing, tail-spend handling, and enforceable procurement controls.
- Coordinate integrations and dependencies with Finance, SAP Ariba, and Master Data.
- Own workstream milestones, quality gates, integration testing, defect management, and cutover delivery.
- Diagnose configuration, data, and integration issues and drive corrective actions to closure.
- Develop AI prompts, accelerators, validation standards, and SAP Joule agent specifications for spend analysis, approval bottlenecks, and scenario testing.
- Lead and mentor a small delivery team, review deliverables, and allocate work according to capability.
- Lead requirements and design workshops, manage business stakeholder relationships, and defend scope against delivery risks.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience on the primary skill is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Deep SAP MM expertise in self-service and catalogue procurement, OCI catalogue integration, free-text requisitions, and lean services procurement in S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of account assignment categories, Controlling objects, commitment management, and approval and release flows.
- Current, continuous hands-on configuration experience with no sustained break from build activity in the last 18 months.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of an SAP module workstream, including estimation, milestones, defect management, integration testing, and cutover.
- Demonstrated leadership of a small delivery team and direct ownership of business stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated use and adoption of AI-assisted delivery methods, reusable accelerators, or automation with a defined validation standard.
- Working knowledge of SAP Joule for Consultants and the ability to specify Joule agent use cases; proficiency is expected within 90 days if prior exposure is absent.
- Workstream ownership across at least two full-lifecycle SAP implementations or large rollouts.
- SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, SAP Fieldglass, SAP Concur touchpoints, and Central Procurement experience are good-to-have qualifications.
