Responsibilities
- Build secure, high-scale cloud applications using Go, Node.js, and other modern languages.
- Collaborate with an engineering squad that owns a product set.
- Design and deliver software solutions with support from Principal Engineers and Engineering Managers.
- Help ensure the reliability and availability of systems, including participating in an on-call rotation.
- Develop expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud technologies, and databases.
- Focus primarily on building and shipping software solutions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience using Go, C#, or Java.
- At least 4 years of experience building and scaling a revenue-generating product.
- At least 2 years of experience running production applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Broad understanding of cloud-scale application development and securing internet-facing applications containing high-value data.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with relational and document databases including Postgres, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Ability to use generative AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and custom LLM agents to accelerate delivery and prototyping.
