Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Design and implement production recommendation-system models across retrieval, prediction, ranking, personalization, search quality, and embedding domains.
- Build and deploy end-to-end machine-learning systems, including model deployment, evaluation, data processing, and debugging.
- Contribute to architecture design and collaborate through design and code reviews.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources and operational impact.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content and update it based on product changes and user feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience programming in Python and C++.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience building and deploying recommendation-system models in production and building architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience with end-to-end machine learning, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, and debugging.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
Benefits
- US base salary of $174000 - $252000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
