Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high quality microservices.
- Collaborate with team members to evolve services architecture.
- Create robust RESTful APIs and integrate with external services.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in services.
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure system availability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on microservices.
- Proficiency in JAVA.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools is a plus.
- Experience with GCP is preferred.
- Experience with Node.js/NestJS framework is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
