Base Salary
$236k - $277k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services for AI and model inference on real-time data.
- Own features end to end, from drafting design to aligning stakeholders.
- Make technical decisions on systems spanning multiple teams.
- Ensure quality of deliverables, including code, test coverage, and documentation.
- Participate in on-call duties for the services owned by the team.
- Provide mentorship through code reviews and design feedback.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in designing and operating distributed systems or cloud-native backend infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and distributed-systems patterns.
- Proficiency in Go, Java, or Python, with willingness to work across all three.
- Experience leading cross-team technical work and aligning ambiguous requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
