Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical advisor for sales opportunities across assigned accounts and partners.
- Work with Account Managers and Channel Partners to understand customer objectives, qualify opportunities, and develop solution strategies.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, solution design workshops, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Translate customer business challenges and requirements into technical solution recommendations.
- Present technical solutions and business value to technical and executive audiences.
- Coordinate specialist resources and collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
- Build trusted relationships across customers, partners, sales, pre-sales, services, and technology alliances.
Requirements
- Strong experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or technical consulting role.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure architectures, including storage, networking, servers, and converged systems.
- Experience designing and presenting enterprise technology solutions to customers and partners.
- Experience leading technical discovery sessions, workshops, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Knowledge of enterprise storage, data platforms, hybrid cloud, virtualization, or related technologies.
- Understanding of partner ecosystems, including VARs, GSIs, LSIs, and technology alliances.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical recommendations and influence decision-making.
- Exposure to analytics, data management, cloud, IoT, or adjacent technologies is a plus.
