Responsibilities
- Perform automated, API, and accessibility testing for complex applications and scenarios.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and identify and document edge cases and project risks.
- Prioritize testing efforts, clarify acceptance criteria, and help teams deliver assigned stories by the end of each sprint.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows and provide parallel execution, reporting, and environment management.
- Create testing plans and metrics, present insights during sprint reviews, and propose delivery and product improvements to clients.
- Document anticipated risks and blockers, advance testing best practices, and mentor peers and junior team members.
- Coordinate technical work and priorities with delivery leads and act as a technical interface for client stakeholders.
- Conduct recruiting interviews and analyze candidates for hiring or contracting decisions.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience in relevant technology and software projects.
- Deep expertise developing and maintaining end-to-end test frameworks with Playwright, Cypress, and/or Selenium for web applications.
- Experience with Appium for iOS and Android mobile testing.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, and/or Python.
- Strong proficiency integrating automated tests with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps, including parallel execution, test reporting, and environment management.
- Experience building a test automation framework from scratch.
- Experience leading and executing automated testing for web and mobile applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience presenting to client stakeholders and communicating technical and business value.
- Experience understanding and articulating the business outcomes affected by development projects.
- Coaching, mentoring, and structured code review experience.
- Relevant intensive-program training, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to conduct recruiting interviews and assess candidates.
