Responsibilities
- Develop reusable infrastructure code and infrastructure testing frameworks.
- Build tools and frameworks for infrastructure provisioning and access-control management.
- Design and develop cloud security, secrets management, and key-rotation solutions.
- Design a centralized logging and metrics platform for Meesho’s scale.
- Develop infrastructure as code for new infrastructure requirements.
- Help application teams onboard the container platform.
- Scale the platform for millions of concurrent requests.
- Reduce MTTR and enable high availability and disaster recovery.
- Mentor younger engineers and contribute to code modularity, scalability, reusability, and team building.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science.
- 4–7 years of in-depth, hands-on professional experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong systems, Linux, open-source, infrastructure engineering, and DevOps fundamentals.
- Understanding of compliance, security, and SDL.
- Ability to write infrastructure as code for public or private clouds and implement modern cloud integration architecture.
- Knowledge of Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, or CI tools.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Shell, or Go.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, or similar container services.
- Knowledge of designing and implementing end-to-end cloud monitoring solutions.
