Base Salary
$234k - $335k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical advisor and long-term technical relationship owner for a portfolio of public sector customers and prospects.
- Own technical account plans, milestones, adoption priorities, expansion opportunities, and customer technical outcomes in partnership with Account Directors.
- Lead discovery with government executives, mission owners, technical teams, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize mission-focused AI use cases.
- Develop applied AI architectures spanning models, applications, data, integration, identity, security, privacy, governance, evaluation, and deployment.
- Guide technical evaluations, demonstrations, workshops, prototypes, and proofs of value through production adoption.
- Help customers address public sector security, compliance, governance, procurement, and deployment requirements.
- Track adoption, usage, account health, production readiness, risks, and measurable mission impact.
- Coordinate deployment, implementation, training, enablement, security, product, domain, and partner specialists.
- Share customer insights with Product, Engineering, and Research to improve products, architecture guidance, and reusable practices.
Requirements
- Significant experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture, solutions engineering, technical account leadership, AI deployment, or technical customer success.
- Experience guiding complex organizations from technical evaluation through production adoption and measurable impact.
- Experience with government agencies, public institutions, or government contractors and familiarity with public sector mission, security, compliance, governance, and procurement considerations.
- Strong software and cloud architecture foundations, including APIs, distributed systems, data integration, identity, security, and privacy.
- Understanding of modern AI systems, frontier models, agentic applications, model evaluation, retrieval, and enterprise AI workflows.
- Ability to prototype and work confidently with APIs, SDKs, Python, or JavaScript.
- Ability to build credibility with senior technical and government leaders while communicating effectively with engineers and program teams.
- Experience developing technical account plans, prioritizing customer portfolios, and connecting adoption to measurable outcomes.
- Meaningful expertise in a relevant public sector mission or customer segment.
- Existing security clearance is not required but may provide additional opportunities.
