$102k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems that support gameplay and immersive experiences.
- Design elegant solutions while considering overall product architecture.
- Produce simple, extensible, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Contribute to feature-area design, implementation, and code reviews.
- Collaborate across development, design, product, and quality disciplines.
- Evaluate requirements, estimate development work, and integrate features into Minecraft across dozens of platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, or Java, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience developing in C++, preferably in cross-platform environments.
- Preferred: experience with skeletal animation keyframe blending, animation-tree resolution, or IK solvers.
- Preferred: experience with production animation systems such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or Godot.
- Preferred: experience driving cross-organizational and cross-discipline communications.
Benefits
- U.S. base pay range is USD $102,100–$202,200 per year, with separate ranges for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
