Base Salary

$109k - $163k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, test, debug, and implement code for gameplay systems, game features, or core technology.
  • Design and implement solutions in a modern game engine using C++, C#, or similar programming languages.
  • Own or support features and technical areas from implementation through delivery, including debugging, optimization, and iteration.
  • Develop tools and utilities that support game projects when needed.
  • Review, analyze, and test products as part of a production team to meet Nintendo’s quality and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and fellow engineers to solve technical challenges and create engaging player experiences.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of software engineering experience in the relevant field.
  • Experience developing gameplay systems, game features, or core technology for shipped video games.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions within a modern game engine using C++, C#, or similar programming languages.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable, and portable code and support or own features through delivery.
  • Understanding of interactive entertainment methodologies and the game production pipeline.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
