Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction and delivery of client engagements while increasing the effectiveness and autonomy of engineers.
- Design, implement, deliver, and test production Android applications for consumer banking use cases.
- Make architectural decisions, break down complex problems, and promote strong software development practices and technologies.
- Collaborate with clients, leadership, product owners, designers, technologists, and users to align solutions with technical and business priorities.
- Own delivery outcomes, proactively manage risks, and maintain software quality while stepping away from day-to-day coding when appropriate.
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex, commercial-grade software systems.
- 4+ years of experience leading Agile teams.
- Expert production Android development skills using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with consumer banking applications, including account management and onboarding.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for mobile applications.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include fraud management, KYC/AML, regulatory reporting, on-device biometrics, published Google Play Store apps, and experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or Copilot.
- A college degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
