Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex security risk problems and drive them end to end.
- Build systems to make risk measurable and scalable.
- Collaborate with Security Engineering to pressure test architectures and treatment plans.
- Mentor engineers and risk practitioners to build a risk engineering culture.
- Work across various security domains, understanding systems and their vulnerabilities.
- Identify systematic risks through threat modeling and structured assessments.
- Design and build AI-native risk tooling for risk classification and triage.
- Create dashboards for real-time visibility into risk postures.
- Partner with Security Engineering to design explicit remediation roadmaps.
- Measure outcomes focusing on decisions made and risk reduced.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software or security engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python or a systems language like Go, Rust, or C/C++.
- Broad knowledge across core security engineering domains with depth in at least one.
- Calibrated risk judgment to assess severity and likelihood of risks.
- Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives.
- Outstanding communication skills for translating technical concepts.
- A track record of resolving ambiguous technical problems.
- Low ego and high empathy, supporting diverse teams.
- Passion for AI safety and security management.
