Lead Software QA Engineer
SS&C TechnologiesResponsibilities
- Define end-to-end QA strategy, test plans, and release criteria.
- Develop and execute functional and integration test cases using manual and automated methods.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks with Playwright or Selenium.
- Test APIs using Postman or Rest Assured.
- Monitor system stability, analyze test results, and identify bottlenecks.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Document findings, quality metrics, bug tracking, and release reporting.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, business analysts, Product, and DevOps teams.
- Provide timely resource and project updates as a single point of contact.
- Mentor and coach QA engineers and lead a team of QA engineers.
- Break work into smaller technical components and support high-quality releases.
Requirements
- 8+ years of QA experience with strong expertise in test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright and API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
- Experience building test automation frameworks and strong debugging skills.
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted testing tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, accountability, and ownership skills.
- Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration and deliver high-quality work.
- English verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Prior knowledge of wealth management or financial services, including trading, investments, portfolios, or compliance, is an added advantage.
