- Perform integration, system, and end-to-end feature validation for wireless products across LTE, NR, and GSM.
- Use Claude and other AI-assisted engineering tools for code understanding, log analysis, debugging, evidence correlation, and root-cause analysis.
- Identify validation scenarios and expand coverage to improve product robustness and stability.
- Investigate field and lab issues across UE, PHY, DU/MAC/SCH, CU/L3, core, platform, RRH, system, EMS, and monitoring layers.
- Reproduce field and customer issues in production-like laboratory setups.
- Conduct customer- and field-involved investigations and feed findings into product design, regression, and stability work.
- Automate end-to-end feature validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communication, or Computer Science Engineering, a master’s degree in a related engineering field, or equivalent training, education, and experience.
- Solid understanding of 2G, 4G LTE, and 5G NSA/SA systems, including RRC, S1AP/NGAP, X2/Xn, PDCP/RLC/MAC scheduling, PHY/FAPI, GTP-U, and core/platform interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with Python and Pytest for tools and automation scripting.
- Proven debugging and root-cause analysis skills using coredumps, gdb, log and PCAP analysis, memory/crash triage, and KPI/counter reasoning.
- Ability to reason across the UE, RAN, core, platform, and EMS stack rather than a single layer.
- Willingness and aptitude to use AI tools as a daily engineering accelerator.
- Preferred experience with O-RAN, disaggregated CU-DU systems, split 7.2 fronthaul, PTP/timing, IPsec/transport, EMS/OSS, Kibana/KPI monitoring, PM counters, field or customer-facing deployment, NPI, networking, and Scrum/Agile delivery.
