Responsibilities

Work closely with Cohere engineers to plan, deploy, and support high-availability solutions.
Implement and manage tools supporting Cohere’s engineering teams and infrastructure.
Automate the compilation, testing, packaging, and release of Cohere’s software platform.
Coach Cohere engineers on DevOps best practices and tools.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies or services.
Ensure Cohere maintains a disciplined approach to healthcare security.
Create and drive the DevOps roadmap in collaboration with management.
Partner with management on cloud infrastructure cost optimization.
Run quarterly Disaster Recovery exercises.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure management.
Experience designing and managing highly scalable production infrastructure in a regulated environment.
Advocate for modern infrastructure management and automation.
Experience with log aggregation, CI/CD, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Experience with provisioning, management, and automation technologies like Terraform and Chef.
Strong technical skills in Linux system administration, networking, and application deployment.
Experience with at least one scripting language such as Python or Ruby.
Database administration experience with at least one database paradigm.
Experience with monitoring systems.
