Responsibilities
- Define and drive the architecture of large-scale, distributed application systems.
- Ensure solutions are secure, performant, maintainable, and compliant with industry standards.
- Champion engineering best practices in CI/CD, testing, and release management.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in modern frameworks.
- Lead the development of core features and APIs impacting healthcare stakeholders.
- Partner with DevOps and Data teams for seamless integration and operational readiness.
- Embed automated testing and monitoring into the development lifecycle.
- Mentor engineers on technical design and code quality.
- Lead design reviews and incident retrospectives for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product, Clinical, and Operations teams to meet healthcare needs.
Requirements
- 13+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in a senior role.
- Expertise in designing and scaling distributed, cloud-native applications.
- Strong background in modern programming languages like Python, Java, and TypeScript/React.
- Proven track record in system architecture and technical strategy.
- Experience in healthcare technology or regulated environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in mentoring engineering talent.
- Hands-on experience in payment integrity and claims processing.
- Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders.
