Responsibilities
- Lead data migration, platform configuration, and testing for complex OpenGov cloud software implementations.
- Review team configurations and migrated data for requirements alignment, accuracy, completeness, integrity, and maintainability.
- Own complex customer data migrations, including schema mapping, ETL tool configuration, scripting, transformation, and reconciliation.
- Validate and pressure-test customer requirements and advise on optimal solution designs.
- Design and execute test scenarios before go-live.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for government stakeholders and guide customers through deployment and integration.
- Identify recurring customer pain points and improve or automate implementation processes.
- Define and improve implementation standards, templates, playbooks, and reusable tooling.
- Partner with Project Management, Customer Success Management, Data/Integration, and Product teams and provide field feedback for the product roadmap.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to less-experienced engineers.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in software implementation, data migration, or technical consulting, ideally with enterprise or SaaS products.
- At least 3 years of hands-on SQL scripting experience, including complex queries, data transformation, and reconciliation.
- At least 3 years of Python or similar scripting experience for automation and data processing.
- Deep experience with database technologies, ETL, data migration concepts and tools, schema design, and performance considerations.
- Experience implementing AI-driven solutions for automation, workflow optimization, and data-driven insights using modern frameworks and AI models.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex implementations end to end and mentor or guide less-experienced engineers.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and a strong customer-service and teamwork orientation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to validate, reconcile, and approve data and configuration for accuracy.
- Ability to adapt to changing products and evolving customer needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
