Responsibilities
- Learn Keysight’s network test portfolio, including traffic generation and AI data center test solutions.
- Build and run lab test topologies for protocol and performance validation.
- Support customer demonstrations and proof-of-concept testing.
- Write Python scripts to automate test execution and reporting.
- Join customer meetings to observe how technical requirements become test solutions.
- Present a final project to the team at the end of the summer.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and internal teammates while communicating technical ideas persuasively.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with graduation expected between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Coursework or project experience in computer networks, including TCP/IP and Ethernet fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Strong communication skills and interest in a customer-facing technical role.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, EVPN, CCNA certification, Wireshark, iPerf, Linux, containers, public cloud platforms, RoCEv2, RDMA, and GPU cluster fabrics.
- Leadership in student organizations, hackathons, or technical competitions is desirable.
- Ability to work through complex system and network problems, present effectively, collaborate closely, and build customer relationships.
