Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, test, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Lead modernization and upgrade initiatives for the Credit Risk technology stack.
- Review and debug code written by other engineers.
- Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
- Lead vendor and internal evaluation sessions covering architecture, technical capabilities, and system applicability.
- Lead Software Engineering communities of practice focused on new and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in Java or Python.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and Transact-SQL, including Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks and experience working in a large corporate environment.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle practices.
- Preferred experience with Tableau, Business Objects, ThoughtSpot, Kafka, Scala, and Apache Spark.
