Responsibilities
- Design, build, and refine full-stack features for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Design and implement backend services and REST APIs with attention to clarity, maintainability, and backward compatibility.
- Work across Java/Spring services and React/Node.js applications.
- Contribute to architectural improvements and increasingly event-driven designs.
- Write automated tests and help maintain a reliable, secure, production-ready engineering environment.
- Author and maintain CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions and participate in the lifecycle from design through deployment.
- Collaborate with product and engineering peers to translate customer needs into software solutions.
- Own delivered features with a focus on product quality and steady delivery.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a full-stack engineer with strong backend depth.
- Strong production experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Production experience with React and Node.js.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs in real-world applications.
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS applications and multi-tenant product considerations.
- Familiarity with message-based or event-driven systems.
- Experience shipping software in e-commerce, ERP, or CRM environments, particularly e-commerce.
- Commitment to automated testing, code quality, and secure development practices, including awareness of common web security risks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or similar tooling.
- Experience with approval workflows, complex pricing, enterprise order flows, POS integrations, payment gateways, Azure Cosmos DB or other document databases, observability, OTEL-style instrumentation, infrastructure-as-code, or hospitality software is beneficial.
