Base Salary
$225k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated algorithmic trading strategies using quantitative methods and statistical analysis.
- Implement and optimize execution algorithms to improve trading efficiency and reduce market impact.
- Collaborate with quants, developers, and traders to turn trading ideas into production-ready code.
- Monitor and evaluate trading-strategy performance and make real-time adjustments.
- Research new trading opportunities and market inefficiencies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with electronic trading venues and liquidity providers.
- Contribute to the firm’s electronic trading infrastructure and technology stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 2 years of experience in electronic trading or a similar financial-markets role.
- Strong Java programming skills and experience in low-latency environments.
- In-depth understanding of market microstructure, order types, and exchange connectivity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: experience with Rates, equities, futures, options, or FX.
- Preferred: knowledge of market-making strategies and risk management techniques.
- Preferred: familiarity with MiFID II or Reg NMS.
- Preferred: experience with distributed systems and cloud computing platforms.
- Preferred: experience with KDB or another time-series database.
- Preferred: experience with high-frequency trading and algorithmic execution strategies.
