Base Salary

$135k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, develop, and deploy machine learning models for NLP, retrieval, ranking, reasoning, dialog, and code-generation systems.
  • Implement Transformer-based models, reinforcement learning, ensemble learning, and agent-based systems.
  • Process and analyze structured, semi-structured, and unstructured large-scale datasets.
  • Manage the full ML model lifecycle, including problem definition, data exploration, feature engineering, training, validation, and deployment.
  • Implement A/B testing and statistical methods to evaluate model effectiveness.
  • Develop automated testing and validation processes to ensure ML solution integrity and robustness.
  • Explain ML model functionality and benefits to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
  • At least two years of industry experience building and deploying production-level machine learning models.
  • Practical expertise with NLP techniques and frameworks, including training and inference of large language models.
  • Strong understanding of retrieval, ranking, reinforcement learning, or agent-based systems and experience building them for large systems.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Preferred experience with SQL, ETL, data warehousing, and large-scale data systems.
  • Preferred experience with machine learning model lifecycle management tools and MLOps principles.
  • Preferred familiarity with GCP or Azure and current machine learning and AI research and industry trends.
  • Preferred understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
