Responsibilities
- Provide expert operational support and troubleshooting for OpenShift, Grafana, Kafka, Azure, microservices, Jenkins, Groovy scripting, Helm, repository management, and other cloud technologies.
- Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, monitoring solutions, and DevOps practices.
- Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures to improve system resilience and reduce downtime.
- Design and deliver key platform components, scalable microservices, technical enhancements, and proof-of-concepts.
- Troubleshoot customer-reported defects, debug software, conduct performance analysis, and maintain product integrity and compliance.
- Collaborate with product management, technical business analysts, quality assurance, global operations, architects, and developers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, best practices, project status reports, and architectural materials.
- Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, compliance, and production readiness.
- Lead groups of developers and coordinate cross-team development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or software development engineering.
- At least 9 years of relevant IT experience.
- At least 3 years of cloud experience.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Quarkus, OpenShift, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, production support, and operational stability.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Argo Workflows, automation tools, and monitoring solutions.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code using modern programming languages and database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
- Experience building high-performance, highly available, interoperable, and reliable cloud services.
- Experience leading groups of developers and teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues, communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and work in a changing environment.
- Experience maintaining technical and architectural documentation using Confluence or an equivalent tool.
- Familiarity with the complete product development lifecycle, including production support.
