Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and maintain tools, test cases, and automation frameworks.
- Plan, write, execute, and automate functional and data validation test plans.
- Work with engineering and infrastructure teams to maintain TDD/CI/CD development and QA environments.
- Build quality, performance, reliability, extensibility, scalability, and maintainability into software platforms.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Software Engineering, DevOps, and technical teams on release planning and coordination.
- Document and communicate framework functions, interfaces, performance criteria, test cases, and results.
- Estimate effort, schedule tasks, and work toward development milestones and project timelines.
- Analyze data health and consistency and investigate root causes of issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related field, or one year of technical experience as an SDE/T or similar role.
- 0–2 years of applied professional experience in an object-oriented programming language.
- Knowledge of and experience with the full development lifecycle, including code standards and reviews, source control, building, and testing.
- Knowledge of developing and testing in Java.
- Interest in developing tests using Selenium libraries.
- Ability to design, implement, maintain, and scale test automation frameworks with emphasis on extensibility, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively across all levels.
- Proactive problem-solving and troubleshooting approach.
