Base Salary
$171k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical validation for emerging products, strategic initiatives, and incubating technologies from early development through general availability.
- Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering to shape product direction and turn field feedback into actionable recommendations.
- Build repeatable discovery frameworks, demonstrations, technical messaging, reference architectures, and implementation guidance.
- Design and deliver technical enablement programs, including workshops, labs, certifications, and playbooks.
- Lead strategic customer engagements, private previews, beta programs, and early-adopter initiatives with executive-level technical guidance.
- Represent 1Password through executive briefings, conferences, webinars, podcasts, customer events, and industry content.
- Mentor Solutions Engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives that accelerate adoption and scale effective practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles within enterprise B2B SaaS, including initiative leadership beyond an individual sales territory.
- Experience translating emerging technologies into customer value, repeatable field motions, and product or go-to-market recommendations.
- Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, or related cross-functional teams.
- Strong executive communication, storytelling, presentation, and influencing skills across technical and executive audiences.
- Deep understanding of modern identity architectures and developer or AI-powered workflows, including OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, APIs, MCP, infrastructure automation, AI agents, and modern cloud platforms.
- Experience with MEDDPICC or a similar enterprise sales methodology and the ability to work autonomously and influence without direct authority.
- Preferred experience with private previews, beta programs, early-stage products, technical enablement, customer-facing content, AI Security, Developer Security, Privileged Access, SaaS Manager, Unified Access Management, or technical thought leadership.
