Responsibilities
- Maintain and mature Product Security tooling, including SAST, SCA, DAST, and ASPM capabilities.
- Assess software vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance to developers and administrators.
- Ensure the security of software development, testing, and hosting environments.
- Apply current product security best practices and standards.
- Execute and improve Delinea’s secure software development lifecycle program.
- Stay current with secure development technologies, including AI use in development and security processes.
- Perform security reviews of software system designs and configurations.
- Assist support teams with security-related questions and issues concerning Delinea products and services.
- Collaborate with Product Development and DevOps teams on product security activities, including security testing, vulnerability management, API security, and secure cloud operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a similar related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of professional work experience in a Product Security role.
- Experience integrating security testing tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with source-code management systems such as ADO Repos, GitLab, or GitHub.
- Experience with SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA application security testing tools.
- Experience with containers such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization methods including OAuth, SAML2, Kerberos, and X.509 certificates.
- Scripting and automation experience with Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar programming languages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical concepts.
- Preferred: software engineering or development experience, ASPM tools, AI use in software security testing, security frameworks and standards, cloud security, AWS, Azure, and certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or Security+.
